Latest: Portugal Visa Renewal Requirements Updated

Portugal recently updated the residence permit renewal time for the Golden Residence Visa:
Originally 1+2+2 (year), changed to 2+2+2 (year)
Residency requirements:
- Must stay for 14 days in total in years 1-2
- In years 3-4, you must stay for 14 days in total
- In years 5-6, you must stay for 14 days in total
- You can apply for permanent resident status and naturalization in Portugal after 5 years
(Must meet residency requirements and pass basic Portuguese language test)
